TGIF #3

Thank God It's Frida! Here's a page out of a journal that I never wrote on.

Rather than make a collage on front of stretched canvas, I decided it would look better on the back.

My friend Jolene sent this altered CD to me. I love the way she placed faces of Frida along the edges.

My friend Christina sent me this altered CD featuring Frida. She designed the background using Sharpies. I'm not sure what medium was used to color in Frida's clothes.

This is the back of the above CD. Or is it the front? No biggie. Both sides look great! I think she used Sharpies to add color throughout.

Where did the week go? Who cares, TGIF!!!! Thank God It's FRIDA!

Yes, Linda, I used sharpies. I don't think I sealed the images. I don't remember.

Christina, considering you used Sharpies, the colors have a subtle appearance. The pigments have held up after all this time.
Soul, isn't it amazing what people alter? LOL! You're nuttier than I am cause you're surrounded by tots ALL day long!
Yes, Bea. Frida can either bring a smile or scare ya! I smile. LOL!

I guess I am going to have to google Frida. Can you believe I do not know about her other than what I have seen on fellow/gal artists blogs? I know, I know some of my education has holes in it.
Well I am new to the world of art what can I say?
Fun to revamp CDS another idea!
How about old floppies?

What's next VCRs?
