Peace Offering

This little guy (50/50 named after the creamsicle bar by the men in the family) is always ready to lend out a purr. He's the most loving man cat I know even if he likes to make trouble with the girl kitties.

Momma looks very stand-offish but she is always the first to greet guests and she loves men. And me, of course. She brings me comfort when I'm feeling down and she's sitting right next to me as I type.

My kitties always know when their hairless momma needs a jolt of inner peace. They sense when something is not right with "her." So they come and sit nearby hoping to make it better. It helps until my mind starts to wander. I'm always telling others to let it go and to not let the negative junk take over. Why is always easier said than done?
Here's to a week of peace for everyone. Be calm and take deep breaths.

Yup, yup, yup that negativity comes out of nowhere it seems and feels like molasses when it sticks to our aura. Calming thoughts, not allowing the emotion that it stirs up get stirred up and mentally bathing your entire being with golden light can help.
And, animals KNOW exactly what is going on with our energy fields.
I once led a Reiki prayer session in a little bookstore. The door to the store was open and when we had finished the owner was laughing because sitting in our circle where two cats and a dog that had wandered in from the street.

that's something i never knew, that you have kitties, i am a doggie person but i 'get' it why people love them, i was scratched by one when i was little so actually i fear them...
doing home visits for our new kiddies is hell, going into their homes and seeing how some of them live eeek.

I am suffering terrible guilt. I have recently banished my cat from my bedroom and he is so confused. I know he feels banished and does not get it at all. But I can't sleep with his constant kneading and jumping from bed to window and down and up again all night long.
So he's banished now and looking very glum. Perhaps your cats could come over for a play date and cheer him up a bit?

Bea, I would have loved to see those cats and dog in the circle! Sherry, thanks for the toast to a good week! It's working!
Oh Soul, I was allergic to cats and dogs as a child but I overcame my allergies. Too bad about the children at school.
Teri, just keep showing your man cat that he's loved so he won't feel so confused.

Linda, I really do know how you feel. It's been a lovely sunny day here today and yet I feel out of sorts this evening. Strange isn't it? I couldn't even be bothered to blog. Cats are amazing creatures and always on hand when you need them. Sending you hugs from Ireland. xxx

OOO Soul! So glad you got your verbs! YAY!!!
BT, yeah, I know about those weird moods. I hate feeling blue. But my kitties always know how to cheer me up or at least bring me some comfort.
