Isn't She Lovely

When I think of Frida, I see rich colors. Deep blue, bright orange, sunny yellow, lime green, fushia, terra cotta....

My mother is the one who introduced me to Frida. After that, I was hooked on her art and story. A future artventure of mine is to assemble a book of some kind that pays tribute to Frida by using vibrant colors as well as altered photos of my favorite artist. File this under near future.

YES! I love this! I don't know if you saw my funky Frida pendant, but I've got another Frida project in mind that I hope to get to soon. I'm enjoying looking at all your projects on the blog - I really like your style of collage. p.s.thanks for such nice comments on my blog!

Thanks lk! I'm trying to keep up with my weekly visual journal. It seems easy to do because I'm not pressuring myself to write in it daily.
Can't wait to see your Frida project! I love that woman.
