Happy "Scrappy" Book

For years my work desk had a tiny stash of collected images, doodles and drawings. Then a year ago I decided to start putting them together to create a little "scrap book." Some of the imagery I used came from salvaged pages of library book catalogs, discarded catalog cards, bits of wall borders, note cards, and magazine inserts. These became the "meat" of my little book. Sometimes while "on hold" listening to b-o-r-i-n-g muzak, I'd doodle away or draw odd looking things. Well, these were worked into my scrap book too. I feel the name I chose, scrap book, is appropriate considering that I used, well, scraps to put it together. A rubber band keeps all the pages in place. Enjoy and click on the pages to read some of the silly passages in my Happy Scrappy Book. Below is the cover and the little dainty fingers you see keeping the pages open are not mine but my daughter's. LOL!

So that's it. Hope you enjoyed viewing the pages. I have plans to get another one going because unfortunately, I keep throwing stuff in that drawer. ACK!

Comadre, tienes un knack especial para crear paginas con cualquier material. Como el librito que me mandaste , the fake journal, que me encanta.

What a fun little book! What a good use of "favorite" things that you just can't part with but need a home. Perfect. Love the color of the nails. Have a wonderful holiday. Have to run and catch the turkey now. :)Bea

This is a marvelous scrap book. A great way to put together those little snippets of paper that bedazzle our eye.

Bea, Lisa and Jolene, this is one way to use those snippets that we all save cause we know that one day we'll use them. Only instead of just collecting dust, I actually used them! Thanks for your comments and for visiting!
