The catalog cards are larger than the blank spots that are on front of the cabinet but you could cut them down and let the words describing the story show or peak through the art. Great idea!Stampmaidenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15145597287195626883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6162049047643224797.post-87135175477113217322009-08-26T15:56:41.730-07:002009-08-26T15:56:41.730-07:00We have one of those old cabinets. After seeing these decorated cards it makes me think I could do some cards that go into the front gizmo that held the description of what was in the drawer. If only. My Naked Ladies, aka, Bella Donnas, did NOT bloom except for 1! They didn't receive the proper amount of water. I'll definitely remember that for next time around. Even if I have to drag water in a heavy pail from the faucet to the ground they're under, I'm gonna have to do it. They only bloom once a year during this time and I look forward to them and it was so disappointing to not have them around.<br />LindaStampmaidenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15145597287195626883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6162049047643224797.post-46497585827260191682009-08-19T07:00:23.698-07:002009-08-19T07:00:23.698-07:00Oh Linda, I've just come back from the UK and,...Oh Linda, I've just come back from the UK and, wow, yours is the first blog I'm catching up on. What an amazingly colourful post. Just fantastic. Love it. Those beads and those crazy library cards. I don't think we have them here or in the UK. I would love some. Let me know how much I should put on the envelope? Roughly? I can't use a USA stamp so I don't know what to do... Your art is astonishing. Beautiful. You'll love the colour of the bouncy castly Jack went on in my latest post, it's like pillar box red. Woweeee.
